Il Matto which translates as ?the mad man? in Italian, is the brainchild of Chef Matteo Boglione. Il Matto opens this summer in TriBeCa, where Chef Boglione departs from his usual rustic Italian cuisine at Falai and Gradisca, to offer sophisticated Italian fare with an eccentric twist. Joining him is internationally-renowned mixologist Christina Bini, who has come straight from Italy to mastermind the cocktail program, Antonio d'Ambrosio former manager and sommelier at Perbacco has created an extensive all Italian wine list, Architects, Riccardo Cacaaciocchi and Francesca Gaetani have designed a chic and esoteric environment as an extension of the menus of Boglione and Bini - using details of immaculate quality with the creative touch of a madman.
